# Retrieve Connection Options

You can retrieve the options object for a [connection](/docs/authenticate/identity-providers) using Auth0's <Tooltip tip="Management API: A product to allow customers to perform administrative tasks." cta="View Glossary" href="/docs/glossary?term=Management+API">Management API</Tooltip>.

Make a `GET` call to the [Get Connection endpoint](https://auth0.com/docs/api/management/v2#!/Connections/get_connections_by_id). Be sure to replace `CONNECTION_ID` and `MGMT_API_ACCESS_TOKEN` placeholder values with your connection ID and Management API <Tooltip tip="Management API: A product to allow customers to perform administrative tasks." cta="View Glossary" href="/docs/glossary?term=Access+Token">Access Token</Tooltip>, respectively.
